Tammy, Office Manager
Tammy, our office manager, has been with PVVC since 1992. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Washington in 1991. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and going to the ocean.
Gina, Front Desk
Gina has been with our clinic since mid-2017 and in the veterinary field for four years. Prior to that, she was a barista for 22 years! She is married with two daughters and two “fur-babies.” She enjoys camping, thrifting, crafting, gardening, and being with her family.
Rhonda, Front Desk
Rhonda joined the front desk crew in 2017 after working in the human healthcare field. She loves working with people and animals. Her family has a dog, Annie, and a cat, Lillie.
Ali, Front Desk
Ali has always had a strong work ethic, a willingness to help others, and a love for all animals. She enjoys hiking, working out, and spending time with her dogs & husband. Ali met her husband Jason while they both volunteered at Orting Valley Fire & Rescue. They now reside in downtown Puyallup with their two dogs Juno & Finn.
Our Veterinary Technician, Pam, has been with PVVC since 2005. A licensed veterinary technician since 1985, Pam takes a special interest in weight consultations and can help you get your pet to a healthy weight. At home, she enjoys gardening, horseback riding, and the Mariners.
Jessie started at PVVC in 2008, while still in high school, as a kennel assistant and worked her way to veterinary assistant. She graduated from Pierce College as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2014. Jessie enjoys camping, hiking, concerts, and is an avid reader. She has two cats, Maui and Jarvis, and a tiny dog named Vero.
Amy came to us in January of this year and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since graduating from Pierce College in 1991. She has taken a special interest in dentistry and dermatology (after working for a skin specialist for 5 years). Amy is married and has a darling fur baby named Flossie Mae. She is an avid fishergirl and loves fly fishing and fly tying. She also quilts and is exceptional in the kitchen.
Katie has been with PVVC since 2000. She does a great job trimming dogs’ nails! Katie enjoys camping and spending time with her husband, two parakeets, Sheldon and Leonard, and cat, Mo. They also welcomed a baby boy, Cole, to their family in February of 2018.
Alexa started working here in April 2016 as a veterinary assistant after graduating from PIMA Medical Institute. She has wanted to work in the veterinary field since she was five years old and is happy to be here. Alexa loves to spend time with her two adorable kittens, Phoenix and Sampson.
Liz (Buffy) started working with us in 2017. She is married and has two canine fur babies, Benny and Honey. Liz is also an avid reader.
Tiffany joined our clinic in January of 2020. Tiffany is married to an incredibly supportive husband, and the mother of two adventurous and creative kids. They share their home with (surely not!) too many cats, a couple dogs, and are constantly developing their hobby farm. She even rents out her goats for brush control! She loves to garden, create things with paper mache, and tinker in several other crafts. She enjoys bartering with local farmers, learning new skills, and perusing antique or barn sales for the ultimate find… or, more likely, the newest of many projects.
